Optolexia hopes to help schools identify students who have dyslexia by using cloud computing and machine learning. As a student reads text on the screen of a computer fitted with an eye tracker, the tool captures the student’s eye movements. The data is sent to the machine learning engine in the cloud, which returns a numerical result that identifies the likelihood that the student has dyslexia.
