Camp Delafield, a magical place for children with dyslexia

Camp Delafield run by the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana is a magical place in which people with dyslexia are the norm, dyslexic children are empowered, and famous dyslexics are widely revered. It is a place in which students need not apologize for their reading speeds, disorganization or difficulty remembering lists. It is a place that brings unique individuals together to celebrate one another’s talents and individuality while discovering new ways to overcome the challenges of the outside world. It is a special place that makes a remarkable difference in the lives of children. Read about my experience at Camp Delafield here:
