How long does it take the average child to read popular children’s books? How long does it take your child? At the height of my struggle with dyslexia, I’m quite certain my times would have been much longer than the times listed here!
I tried the Easy Spelling Aid app and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The voice recognition is quite good, and the use of the Open Dyslexic font is appreciated. You simply speak a word or phrase into your phone’s microphone, and the word or phrase is displayed in Open Dyslexic (or another font if you choose). Easy and usually quite accurate.
