Dyslexic girl wins international essay competition

Tabitha Carr’s winning piece – Is Change a Good Thing? – was chosen by judges from more than 6,500 entries to take the top prize in the Royal Commonwealth Society’s 2013 essay competition.

Being dyslexic and having found it difficult to read and write in the past, Tabitha now hopes her win will inspire other children who find writing difficult.
